9.Cauliflowers are harvested, washed, trimmed and cut to assure a clean, wholesome product. The cauliflowers are prepared and frozen in accordance with good manufacturing practices.  The cauliflowers are washed, blanched and individually quick-frozen.

Annual (Cleome gynandra L.)

 annual erect branching herb. No thorn. 3-7 leaves palmately compound leaves, margin serrulate or glandular ciliate; petiole 2-7 cm long; exstipulate. Racemes 15-30 cm long, bracts composed of 3 leaflets; pedicels ca. 1.5 cm; sepals glandular hairs; petals white, rarely pale yellow or pale purple claw; conical disk; corolla stamens protruding outside. Fruit cylindric; 3-8 cm long. Seeds nearly flat globose, dark brown. Without seed coat. Flowering and fruiting period is about 7-10 months.
