Litchi, the fruit of Litchi chinensis, originated in southern China, cultivated in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Sichuan, Taiwan and Yunnan. Every year from 6 to July when ripe, stripped shell, take aril (Litchi) fresh or dried.
