importance of using cylinder valve caps & guards

The structure of cylinder valves is smaller than cylinder body, most made of copper alloy and strength is inferior to the cylinder body, meanwhile, between bottle and cylinder valves joints to form a right Angle, it is the most vulnerable part. In transportation and use process, if under the careless operation, cylinders fall down or valves hard hit, it is easy to make cylinder valves in the neck of the roots fracture.
In this case, the gas will be out of control, often cause serious accidents.
1. For high pressure gas cylinders, the pressure inside is up to 200 kg/cm2, once the cylinder valve is broken, the high speed jet gas will make cylinders dash to the opposite direction and can damage the machine equipment, building, or even cause personal injury;
2. If the cylinder contains toxic gas such as liquid chlorine, severe poisoning accidents will happen;
3. If the cylinder contains liquefied gas, it will be releasing rapidly after gasification, the volume expansion of hundreds, will spread widely;
4. If the cylinder contains with flammable and explosive gases (liquefied gas), it will rush out and mix with air, easy to burning and explosion.
Cylinders installed with cap or guards can not only protect the cylinder valves from the impact, avoid the happening of the accident, and also prevent grease, dust, etc.
