The Products is manufactured from 100% coir or palm fibre stitched together on both sides with polypropylene nettings. They are biodegradable and supplied in easily handled rolls. The mat is designed to be effective as a soil slopes promoting the establishment of vegetation to the following areas:

1. Erosion protection of slopes and river banks / embankments

2. Reservoirs/ detention & retention ponds / lake edging

3. Rivers and channels with high velocities

4. New slope cutting/ fill slopes

5. Landfill / reclaimed mining lands
