What is RO system?
Reverse osmosis is the most advanced and effective desalting technology. The principle is that under the higher pressure more than the dissolved solution osmotic pressure ,only allowing water molecules through the reverse osmosis membrane. Then the solute and solvent separated ,thereby getting the purified water.The fine particles ,colloid ,organic matter,bacteria ,virus and 99% the dissolved salt can be removed by the membrane separation technology .RO system with the advantages of small volume ,no pollution,high automation,produced water quality stability etc. alrea.
What is EDI system?
Electrodeionization is a water treatment technology that utilizes an electricity, ion exchange membranes and resin to deionize water and separate dissolved ions (impurities) from water. It differs from other water purification technologies in that it is done without the use of chemical treatments and is usually a polishing treatment to reverse osmosis (RO). There are also EDI units that are often referred to as continuous electrodeionization (CEDI) since the electric current regenerates the resin mass continuously. CEDI technique can achieve very high purity, with conductivity below 0.1 µS/cm.
Working process of EDI system:
RO system detail function:
1. Sand filter : mainly used for the removal of the sediment from water.
2. Carbon filter: mainly used for chlorine removal and other organic gases, also to clear up the taste of water .
3. Water Softener: Exchange "Ions" of calcium and magnesium with the most common and easiest method.
4. High pressure pump: Provide the high pressure to RO membrane.
5. RO system: The main part of the plant. The RO membrane's desalting rate can reach 99%, removing over 99% ions.
6. Pure water tank: After the below process,The water result is pure enough for different application.
