 4  Technical Description

Groud Enclosure                                 

Consists of a base to support the mastand railing,A single cage enclosure can be transformed into a twin cage enclosure by adding just a few parts.

The gate is interlocked mechnically and electrically.It can not be opened unless the cage is at the landing.The cage will not start unless the gate is closed. 

Mast Section                                         

Each section is 1508mm length and provided with one rack for single cage hoist or two racks for twin cage hoist and welded counterweight guide rail if necessary.

The sections are bolted together with screws and nuts to form mast.The mast is tied to the building with tie-in and is the guide rail of cage.

Tie In                                                       

There are several types of tie-in for selecting,Tie-in is avaliable in variable sizes.Distance between the tie-in is about 6~9m along the mast.

Cage                                                       

Consists of steel structure,firm wire mesh wall,entrance and exit gates,Guide rollers guide the cage to travel along the mast.Safety hook on the cage main frame prevents the cage climbing off the top.

The cage roof with safety railing serves as working platform during erectio.One can easily get up on the roof for erection and maintenance because of a trap door in the roof and a ladder in the cage.

Hoist Machine                                     

Consists of electrical motor,electric-magnetic bike,coupling,reducing devise and pinions etc.The cage climbs by means of pinion in engagement with the rack.

Safety Device                                      

The single-tooth safety device consists of shell,braking tapered drum,centrifugal block and spring etc.When the cage is started,the contrifugal block in the speed limiter overcomes spring tension to drive the braking taperd drum to rotate and screw-in together with the screw connected to it.The braking tapered drum contacts with the shell to gradually increase friction and ensure smooth braking of the cage.

The braking principle of three-tooth safety device is same as single-tooth safety device,with bugger braking moment.

Counterweight Equipment              

The counterweight is mainly used for increasing load capacity of hoists while electric energy consumption keeps unchanged.The counterweight is overhung on the top of cage by steel cables passing the head sheave on the top of guide rail basket.No access way of the hoist is allowed below the counterweight,and the quantity of steel cables connecting to the counterweight is two.In regard to the head sheave,amounted head sheave or a seated head sheave can be used according to users' need.In case of the guide rail bracketheightened,It is more convenient to use a mounted head sheave.

Lifting Device                                      

The lifting device is fitted on the cage roof used to lift up mast sections,tie-ins anmd other parts.Rated load of the lifting device is about 250kg

A brake is installed on the winch of lifting device.Loose the handle,The winch will stop.Lift up something by rotating handle clockwise or put down something by rotating handle counterclockwise.
