Product description

Eddie 7931 is a high performance two component, insulated methacrylate structural adhesive with two parts mixed at a volume ratio of 10:1. There is no need to rigorously treat the surface of the substrate. It cures rapidly at room temperature and has excellent bonding strength to various substrates such as metal and plastic.

How to use: Instructions for use:

Glue the surface of clean, dry substrates to ensure no paint, oxide film, grease, dust, mold release agents or any other surface contaminants. Special substrate pretreatment methods are detailed in the Surface Pretreatment section.

50ml double tube packaging:

Place the double tube packaging hose into the size applicator. Open the hose cap. Press out the glue and discard a small amount of colloid at the front end to ensure the proportion of the glue and the smoothness of the glue. If necessary, clean the hose outlet and install the mixer. Glue on a clean surface to ensure that the two components are well mixed in the mixer and the gel will cure completely within 8-24 hours at 25 °C. Unused colloids should be stored at 2-8 °C.

Guidelines for the use of large packaging:

Follow the instructions for use of the manufacturer of large-package gel applicators.

Cleaning:

The overflow colloid can be removed with a solvent. The edge overflow or glue line of the bonded portion can be removed using isopropyl alcohol.

Note: When using solvents, extinguish all sources and follow the manufacturer's precautions and instructions.

Surface pretreatment

The 7931 can bond metals, plastics and other substrates with virtually no surface preparation. For most current situations and taking into account environmental tolerances, all substrates should be clean, dry, free of paint, oxide film, grease, dust, mold release agents or any other surface contaminants. The degree of surface pretreatment will directly affect the bond strength and environmental resistance desired by the user.
