I. General
CG-L-2.5/4 IC prepayment smart gas meter is a new-generation smart gas flow measuring meter that adopts IC card to realize prepayment and automatic charging. It can be widely applicable to flammable gases such as natural gas, coal gas, liquefied petroleum gas and others, which is an ideal measuring meter adapting to gas management modernization. This meter is internally provided with 16-bit low power consumption MCR, and all programs and data are automatically completed. Gas management department can pre-sell the gas quantity to users through computer, and read back the remaining quantity and accumulative quantity of users; the information management software can establish user profiles, to store the basic information of users.
II. Technical features:
1. SOC single-chip design effectively reduces cost and fault links.
2. Use special chip. Its unique encryption technology ensures code and data never lose, having high safety.
3. It has multiple-address categorical data error correction and redundant memory technology.
4. IC card information transmits handshake protocol special for encryption, effectively solving the data losing and error problems.
5. It has classification status recognition mechanism, convenient for status judgment and analysis.
6. Two-level voltage alarm function provide convenience to user for understanding service condition of battery.
7. It is provided with 7-bit LCD indicating gas quantity and words status indicating information; standby status indicates remaining gas quantity and words status indicating information. Daily display is not off, convenient for users to know gas consumption situation.
8. As prepayment storage media, encryption IC card has the advantages, including low cost, no influence by magnetic field, no scratch, high encryption and high reliability etc.
9. Use double impulses to obtain signal. If attempting to disturb this meter with external magnetic field, it may result that remaining gas quantity is reduced and electrical valve shuts down.
10. Each IEC card can be set with only one password. The card meter and IC card is corresponding to each other, which are interchangeable, namely one meter to one card function.
11. Integrated design, nice appearance, convenient installation and use cooperate with gas selling management system, to realize gas sales management automation.

IV. Composition:
IC card civil gas meter is composed of IC card controller, basic gas meter, electrical valve and IC card.
1. IC card: a card used for purchasing gas from gas company.
2. IC card controller: the circuit used for inputting user’s IC card gas purchased quantity and accurately metering and controlling the gas consumption quantity.
3. Electrical valve: used for controller on and off of user’s gas supply tubes; IC card smart gas meter shuts down the electrical valve under the following conditions:
a. Gas quantity that user has purchased runs out;
b. External magnetic interference;
c. Battery removed or low battery voltage;
4. Basic gas meter: is the standard product for gas metering, and is the information source that IC card controller automatically deducts gas.
