Instruction for Use

1. Connect water inlet hose to water inlet fixture.Ensure that pre-filter strainer is attached to other end of water inlet hose.

2. Connect water outlet hose to water outlet fixture. Ensure that other end of water outlet hose drains into a cup/bottle or other clean receptacle.

3. Fully submerge pre-filter strainer in the water to be filtered. Use the floats to keep the pre-filter strainer away from mud or sediment.

4. Place the Explorer Pro Filter (Model: OF-E1)multi-functional outdoor water filter one hand and gently raise/lower the pump handle several times to start the water flowing through the Explorer Pro Outdoor water Filter

5. Do NOT bend the pump handle.

Product Founctions

Explorer Pro Multi- Function water filter uses natural diatomite ceramic filter element which is sintered at a temperature of 1200deg C. This filter cartridge can be washed and is environmental friendly.

Removes 99.99% Sand, Rust, Insects, Suspensions, Sediments, Odors,Germs,Microorganisms, Bacteria(Salmonella,E-Coli, Cholera), Protozoa(Giardia, Crytosporidium), Metals(Lead, Mercura, Cadmium), Chemicals(Oil,Chlorine,Pesticides). Retains minerals beneficial to human health.

This filter has additional features: compass, whistle, flashlight, mini-knife and fire flint; They can be used in combination with the filter for all kinds of outdoor adventures including but not limited to travenling, hiking and camping.

Extra Functions:

Compass

Shows directions; To ensure accuracy, compass must be placed horizontally. Keep compass away from electromagnetic forces.

Whistle                  

To communicate with others while you are hiking or in the woods. Make loud sound to contact persons. When encountering difficulties, it can make whistling to attract others’ attention.

Flashlight

Pressing Flashlight button can have bright lights, which can be used in emergency lighting, signal light and daily usage.

Mini-Knife

Made of stain-less steel can be used for cutting foods, objects and other daily used to clean the surface of the filter cartridge.

Sand paper

If the water outflow is little, the filter cartridge may be clogged. This is an indication that the filter needs to be cleaned. Wash the surface of the filter with clean water, slightly rub the filter with sand paper(every sand paper can be used 5- 10 times)

Note:

1. When the new water filter or filter element is used for the first time, the outflow water will be foggy, which is a normal phenomenon. The first 0.5L water outflow should be abandoned, and the later water can be drinkable.

2. Before every use, the water that is pumped for 5-10 times should not be drunk
