This controller is a permanent magnet motor speed controller. It offers smooth, silent, cost effective control of motor speed and torque. Controller is designed for use in mobility aid scooter and other small electric vehicles, such as sweeper or scrubbers. Features include: (1)Full bridge power MOSFET Design, providing infinitely variable forward, reverse, drive and brake control; (2)Programmability throught handheld programmer; (3)Complete diagnostics through handheld programmer and a status LED; (4)Available for single-ended or wigwag 5kΩ potentiometer throttles and 5V throttles; (5)Two different operating modes allowing optimization of vehicle characeristics for different driving conditions; (6)Speed limit input provides linear variable speed limiting; (7)Current limiting in both driving and regnerative braking modes; (8)Load compensation stabilizes speed on ramps and over obstacles: (9)Speed scaler eliminates variations in Maximum speed that would otherwise result from variations in battery charge levels; (10)High pedal disable function with lockout monitors status of the throttle during turn-on and prevents operation until the throttle has been returned to neutral; (11)Key-off deceleration function provides a controlled deceleration if the keys witch is turned off while driving: (12)"Emergency stop" provides a faster deceleration in emergency condition: (13)Anti-rollback / anti-roll-forward function sets brake delay according to speed and direction for improved braking response and minimized rollback on hills, etc: (14)"Push" input relases brake for key-on pushing: (15)Missing / shorted brake detection forces neutral in the event of an open or shorted brake circuit: (16)Reverse beeper option can be used to drive a low current dc horn when vehicles is in reverse (17)Inhibit input disables the controller and puts the vehicle in a safe state during charging etc. (18)Undervoltage cutback function protects against operation at low battery voltage; (19)Overvoltage protection shorts the motor and disables driving in the event of excessive battery voltage; (20)Thermally protected; (21)BDI output can be used to provide data to a voltmeter
