The operation of the water meter is based on the measurement of the velocity of

water flow. There is a propeller inside flow path. The movement of it is transferred to the

top of flow path, and rotate disc. The revolution of disc is detected by using Hall Effect

sensor. The direction of movement is also able to detected using more than one sensor.

Electronic board evaluates the sensor output and displays consumption by LCD. The meter

measures water flow with an accuracy R80 regarding EN 14154 and OIML R49 standard.

The subscribers will get any amount of credit loaded to their cards from the Water Credit

Sales points anytime they want. To load the credit in the card to the meter, only thing you

need to do is holding the card close to the meter and keep it there for a few seconds.

This automatically loads the credit you purchase to the meter and you see the loaded

credit on the display.

The Water Card used in the system enables information exchange between Authority and

the meter. While Authority sends credit information to the meter, the meter sends usage

information to Authority. This information exchange is intended to provide the subscribers

with a better service.

The messages in local language on the LCD displays allow much easier use.
