hawthorn powder is a brown and yellow powder extracted from the dry ripe fruit of Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. var. major N. E. Br. or the Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. of hawthorn. The main effective components are various organic acids. It has the effect of eliminating stomach, reducing inflammation and relieving cough, lowering blood pressure, lowering blood fat, improving coronary artery blood flow and preventing coronary heart disease, angina pectoris and so on, as well as anti-cancer and cancer prevention.
