Answer: No, not at all. It's made of silicone, not plastic. They are great!
Question: Are these oven safe?
Answer: Silicone is not plastic. Usually good to about 450 deg or more. I have silicone baking pans...
Question: Do the markings stand up to washing, or do they disappear over time?
Answer: I have washed these many, many times in my dishwasher and the markings look like new. I love these.
