Barite Powder, its main chemical composition is BaSO4, with stable chemical property and nontoxic it is insoluble in water and hydrochloric acid, so Barite Powder is widely used in industry area.

Application

♦ In oil & gas industry: barite power is used for heavy weight additive of circumfluent mud in oil and gas wells rotary drilling process, and it can cool the drill bit, lubricate drill pipe, close Hole wall, control oil & gas pressure, prevent flowing of well, reduce abrasive wear between sleeve and drill pipe.

♦Chemical Industry: barite powder, as raw material of Barium carbonate, Barium chloride and  Barium sulfate etc, are widely used in all kinds of chemical industry.

♦ construction industry:barite powder is the raw material of concrete aggregate,as the main material of paving the road. and the white powder can also used in the paint area.

Packaging & storage

Barite is packaged in 1000 kg plastic woven bag with inner liner. It is required to be stored in a dry location away from water.
