HYD-40 MOSQUITO SWATTER

Thanks for purchasing mosquito swatter, a safe and efficient way to eliminate mosquitoes and other annoying insects. This devise doesn’t use chemical products dangerous for humans and for environment.

Before use, read carefully all the safety norms and instructions for use,

keep this manual for future reference.

WARNINGS AND SAFETY NORMS

• Keep all packing material (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc..) out of reach of the children, since they are potential sources of danger and must be disposed of as provided by law.

• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity

and any presence of damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use

the appliance and contact an authorized service center.

• The device shall be used indoors only and protected from the elements.

• The water jet of a garden pipe on the device may result in an electric shock.

• Not suitable for use inside barns, stables or similar.

• Never expose the device to rain, do not forget it outdoors, and do not

expose it to very dirty environments.

• The device shall not be used in dusty areas or with flammable or explosive vapor.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Children shall be watched over to make sure they do not play with the

device.

• In case of fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it ON and

do not tamper with it. If the device needs to be repaired, contact an

authorized technical assistance center

• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible

signs of damage or if it has a leak.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if

they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and

understand the hazards involved.

- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are

not to be mixed.

- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance

and safely disposed of.

- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

• Never touch the product with damp hands or feet.

• Do not use the device if it is wet or shows signs of moisture.

• Always make sure to leave enough room around the unit to ensure a

correct air circulation.

• Do not cover the unit as this could create danger of overheating.

• Do not insert any objects in the opening of the appliance.

• Use the appliance only for mentioned purpose, namely as appliance for

domestic use. Any other use must be consider improper and therefore

dangerous.

• The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual damage caused by

improper or faulty use.

• Do not use the appliance in bathroom or in the immediate surroundings

of showers, bath-tubs or swimming pools.

• Do not reach for product that has fallen into water or other liquid. In this

case disconnect it from the power and remove it from the socket.

• Do not use the appliance near furniture, curtains or other combustible

materials.

• Do not place the appliance near flammable vapor or explosive dust.

• Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or any other device

that switches the appliance on automatically, since a fire risk exist if the

appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly

• Do not touch the net with metallic objects, even if the switch is OFF,

there’s the risk of mild but unpleasant electric shock and the generator

could be damaged.

• Do not touch the metallic net with hands or other parts of the body, even

if the switch is OFF. There is the risk of unpleasant though harmless

electric shock.

• Do not use the swatter to crush the insects.

• Do not use the swatter to play with balls or other objects.

• Do not subject the unit to any strong shocks

• For safety reasons, remove the batteries after use.

HOW IT WORKS

The swatter works with 2 AA 1,5V batteries.

Remove the battery door on the back of the handle, insert the batteries,

respecting the polarities and replace the battery door.

The swatter is composed of 3 layers of metallic net and one generator, which

produces electric discharges of low power and high voltage, strong enough

to eliminate the annoying insects.

To turn the unit on, move the switch to the center “MAIN SWITCH”. Slowly

approach the swatter to the insect and when the swatter is near to touch the

insect, press the red button on the handle. The generator is activated and an

LED indicator shows the generator works. As soon as the insect touches the

metallic net, it will be struck.

Release the button, after use, to stop the passage of current.

Do not shake the swatter strongly and do not crush the insects with the

swatter, the improper use of the product may be dangerous and damage the

unit irreversibly.

To turn the torch on, move the switch to ON position

TO turn the torch ON, move the switch to OFF position. In ON position, both

the generator and the light are ON.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To clean the metallic mesh from the any insects trapped, use a jet of air or a

small (not metallic) brush. Do not use water.

Remove the batteries, before cleaning.

Do not touch the metallic mesh with hands or other parties of the body, even

if the switch is ON, there’s the risk of unpleasant but harmless electric shock.

Remove the batteries from the unit in case of long no-use

Store the unit in a clean and dry place, far from dust and humidity.

Do not expose it to rain and do not use it if wet.

Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Please use Brush or dry paper to clean the product three weeks one time.Don’t use water to clean.Thank you!
