Machine Type | Water Filter Equipment |
Working principle:
Primary process is quartz sand multi-medium filter, mainly used to remove hazardous substances over 20um sediments in the water, e.g. manganese, corrosions, colloidal materials, mechanical impurities, suspended solids etc
Secondary process is active carbon filter, mainly to remove pigments, peculiar smells, biochemical organics in the water, to lower the residual chlorine value, remove pesticides and other harmful pollutants in the water.
Tertiary process is cationic resin soften of water, mainly to eliminate the hardness of water.
Quaternary process is 5micrometer aperture ultrafilter to further purify water, optimize the turbidity and chromaticity of water to accord with the inlet water requirements of RO system.
Normal tap water can reach a conductivity of below 10 µs/cm after RO reverse osmosis filtration, the desalinization rate is between 90-99%. For lower conductivity, or conductivity of raw water is beyond 500 µs/cm, secondary reverse osmosis can be introduced, the conductivity of outlet water is under 5 µs/cm. With EDI continuous deionization and anion-cation exchange mixed bed, the conductivity will be under 1 µs/cm.
This system is mainly used to help users to correctly use the company's RO (reverse osmosis) equipment. To ensure the device is in best operating condition and extend its service life. Please read the operation instructions carefully before installing and using this device.
Before reading this manual, let’s have a brief understanding of osmosis and reverse osmosis
Reverse Osmosis:
Use a semipermeable membrane which can only let through water to separate water and another solution containing solutes. Then there is a pressure between two sides of the membrane, known as the osmotic pressure. When pressure on the water side is higher, water molecular on the water side will automatically go through the membrane to the solution side, and liquid level of the solution side rises, this is what we call osmosis. When the liquid level rises to a certain height, the pressure on two sides of the membrane reaches a balance, the rise stops. If the solution side is added an extra, the water molecules will be squeezed to water side, which is exactly the opposite way of osmosis, we call it reverse osmosis (RO).As we can see from the RO process, due to the pressure, water molecules in the solution pass into the pure water side, volume of pure water increases, while the solution itself is concentrated.
The RO membrane we use in this equipment is a semi-permeable helix type membrane. When raw water is sent to the RO membrane under certain pressure, water molecular go through the micro-size pore in the membrane, pure water get collected, and the impurities in raw water, such as soluble solids, organic matter and bacteria, are stopped by the RO membrane.
First stage RO can remove over 97% of dissolved solids, more than 99% of the colloid and organic compounds, and almost 100% of bacteria. This series of RO fully automatic reverse osmosis pure water unit can produce high quality drinking water, meeting the needs of daily drink.
RO equipment is one of the most advanced water treatment equipment in the world, with low cost, easy manual and reliable operation. The production capacity of the equipment is in the raw water at 25 degrees Celsius, the standard production status of the value. Changes in water temperature and production conditions will affect the production capacity of the equipment.
