1.Are hardwood floors difficult to clean andmaintain ?

Shungang Hardwood Flooring is designed tobe easy to clean.We use finishes that allow our floors to be easily cleaned with minimal effort .It is not recommend to wet mop hardwood flooring.

2.Differences in Silid and Engineered hardwood floors.

Solid wood flooring consist of one "solid " piece of wood floorinf. Typically, a solid wood flooring is installed by nailing it to a plywoodo subfloor,,With engineered hardwood floors, layers of wood are assembled by alternating the direction of the grain, then laminating them togather. This manufacturaing process stabilizeds the dimensions of each board. With engineered harwood flooring, expansion or constraction of is minimized allowing for glue-down installtion directly over concrete.

3.What are the difference  in wood species? Are some species better than others?

We use different species in our hardwood flooring to offer you a wide choice of style, color and texture. Visti or produce collection on our website for specific details on each species.

4.Should i expect color variations?

Hardwood flooring is a natural product and will always show some level of variation in color. Species such as Wild Walnut Acacia are desirable because it's unique and wide range of color variation. Staining can even out some color variation.

5.Choice of Installation Method.

There are three choice of installation methods. Glue,Sta[ple/Nail or Float. Most often the choice depends on the type surbfloor in the home. Installation over wood subfloors can use any of the three methods. Over concrete subfloors, the choice is glue-down or floating method .Floatin installations are bese for "Do-It-Yourself" installtions, as this method can be done over any subfloor type.

6.Can i install Shunyang Hardwood Flooring in my bathroom?

Installing hardwood flooring in bathroom has never been recommend due to the amout of water and water vapor that are present in this room of the home. This id an area where other hard surface flooring material would present a better alternative.

7.Can i install  Shunyang Wood Flooring in basement?

Shunyang Engineered Hardwood Flooring can be installed in basement. The  most important consideration for basement installation is to check for any areas where the unwanted water or moisture can enter in the area.Testing of the basement subfloor moisture cotent also necessary.Make sure that a reliable adhesive and moisture barrier are used on the subfloor and follow all the procedures of offered by the adhesive manufaturer.

8.What is the different between prefinished and unfinished wood flooring?

Unfinished wood flooring is hardwood flooring that is supplied without and stain or protective finish . Unfinished floor are installed,sanding and finished on the job site.Prefinished hardwood floors are manufactured,sanded and finished at factory.Advantages of prefinished hardwood flooring are the elimination of the inconvenient sanding and finishing process done in your home and a much quicker completion time. 9.Is hardwood flooring  a better flooring choice regarding allergies?
