Install hold hoop,winch,hanging pulley 1---2days before laying the mesh;at first,check whether direction of the mesh into the working face is right or not when transport it and make sure that the mesh could be spread out in the direction of supports' sides;before paving,at 100-200mm from the front end of each group of supports,insert a bolt,then press the steel frame on;before spead the mesh,make manual wench's free end go through the bottom of the mesh and hang the steel string to the bolt on the roof;cut off the binding mesh belt by shears,then spread the folding part out,and lift up the mesh edge by manual power or single prop to fix with bolts;then connect mesh edge with steel frame by iron wire at every 300mm intervals.After spreading,use manual winch to hang the mesh to the below of front frame;when cutting coal,pull the flame one time after cutting the length of a machine body;before pull the frame,put down the mesh,and ram even-numbered supporting face guard till roof guard to support the mesh;next pull odd-numbered supports,after pull them all,withdraw the even-numbered supporting face guard one after another,then move the machine.Following this method spread mesh to the roof guard in the whole working face.

Take blasting driving as an example:after heading face blasts,lift up the front canopy to the front,pave the mesh in time and make the two ends of the mesh fall down along the two sides of roadway evenly.After harrowing,insert the bolts into the roof plate and fix up the steel frame,then pave the mesh edges with iron wire.The length of overlay of the connected mesh should be more than 100mm,and the coonection joints distance should be less than 200mm;then brush the sides of the roadway everyly with pick,insert coal anchor,pave the mesh along the roadway and coonect with the falling mesh from the roof plate.According to the height of the roadway,pave one or two pieces of mesh on the coal slides.If the roadway back has mesh bags,rip open and make the ballasts out,then reconnected with iron wire.
