The camel hair we talk about is the very soft undercoat gathered from the belly of camels. Camel hair has a unique natural tone of golden tan. It becomes soft and fluffy after processed. Camel hair is one of the most important raw materials for the production of high-grade wool textiles. Camel hair products are light, soft and warm. Thus it has become an important export-special material. However, its production is limited - a camel can only produce a net weight of 0.3 kg of camel hair. As a result, it can be more precious than cashmere. The hollow structure of camel hair fiber makes it a perfect thermal adjuster – it provides the warmest protection among all animal fibers. Camel hair has natural proteins to be anti-static, durable, and hypoallergenic. Camel hair produced from Alashan in Inner Mongolia is famous for its high quality both domestically and internationally.
