The cast iron T-slot surface plate is a industrial measuring tool used to secure work-piece. Bench workers utilize it for debugging , installing and maintaining the equipment.upon request.
It can be made into the rib plate or box type in appearance, and its working surface could be rectangle, square or round.
Additionally, the working surface has been treated with the scraping technology, which allows it to have the V, or U-shaped grooves, round holes, slot holes or other that you desire.
T-slot plate are mainly used as fitting workpieces. Which is the fadation plate of adjustng, assembling and reparing equipments.
The raw material of the cast iron T-slot is the high -strength cast iron HT200-300 ,whose surface hardness is of HB170-240.After the two manual handing such as 600℃ to 700℃ artificial annealing as well as 2 to 3 years of natural aging, the T-slot has plate perfectly resists abrasion and has stable precision.
Precision accuracy:T-slot plates shall be classified as Grade 0, Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3.

1. How to use the cast iron surface plate correctly?
1)Before using, we should use non-corrosive gas to clean the anti-rust oil and wipe clean with a degreasing cotton.
2)Cast iron surface plate need to be adjusted with the varitation gauge to the right level and the load on a surface plate is distributed over the working surface. Our professional specialists are in charge of debugging the surface plates until getting qualified precision grade.
3)please used carefully and prevent collisions ASAP.
4)After using, please take down the workpieces in case that any deformation happens.
5)If the surface plate is not required for some days, the surface should be coated anhydrous acidic anti-rust oil, moisture-proof paper cover, and putted in a clean dry place.
2. How to store cast iron surface plate correctly?
Surface plate should be placed on a locatioin where there is a circulation of air which is under constant temperature control. The plate should be in a location away form direct sunlight and sources of draughts which could cause a vertical gradient of temperature such that the top and underside of the surface plate are at diferent temperatures.
