Main Function

Erythritol is a sugar that has been approved for use as a food additive in the United States and throughout much of the world. Erythritol occurs naturally in some fruits and fermented foods. At the industrial level,  Erythritol is produced from glucose by fermentation with yeast. Erythritol is powder with a transparent white brilliant appearance. Erythritol is 60–70% as sweet as table sugar. The United States and Japan label Erythritol as zero-calorie, while European Union label it as 0.24 kcal/g.

Also as blend with Stevia: Sweetness 100%, 200% and 400% compared with sugar.
Erythritol can nearly be used like sugar. You can use it for bakery, cooking and for sweetening of other food. Even if Erythritol has the highest digestive tolerance compared with other sugar alcohols, excessive consumption of erythritol may produce laxative effects.
