Henna leaves are Antibacterial, Antifungal, Antiseptic, Antirheumatic, Astringent, Antispasmodic, Anti-Inflammatory, Antihemorrhagic, Antineoplastic, Blood Purifier, Coagulant, Constipating, Diuretic, Febrifuge, Oxytocic, Emmenagogue, Intestinal, Cardio-Inhibitory, Hypotensive, Expectorant, Cosmetic, Deodorant, Hair Conditioner, Hair Dye, Refrigerant and Sedative.

Uses:

Henna has been traditionally used for over 5,000 years as a cosmetic, natural dye and medicine. It is one of the best and oldest natural pigments to dye skin, hair, finger-nails, fabric, wools, leather and wood since the ancient times. The leaves, flowers and seeds of Lawsonia Inermis are also used for various medicinal purposes. Its Leaves are quite useful in the treatment of various skin disorders like skin burns, inflammations, wounds, boils, eczema, scabies, dandruff, fungal infections, ulcers, edema, prurigo, leprosy and leucoderma. Henna leaf powder is very useful in promoting hair growth, preventing hair fall and premature hair graying. Apart from skin ailments, henna is also used for the treatment of Dysuria, Strangury, Dysentery, Splenopathy, Liver Disorder, Gastrointestinal Ulcers, Jaundice, Anemia, Amenorrhoea, Dysmenorrhoea, Cough, Bronchitis, Typhoid, Hepatitis, Haemorrhages, Arthritis, Rheumatism and Cancer.

How to Use Henna Hair Colors:

1,Take out the powder in a plastic bowl, mix with lukewarm water in it to make the paste as required, make the paste so thick that it can be easily and gently applied on hair. 

2,Paste should not be too thick or too thin and should be applicable easily on the hair so that it will not fall down. The ratio of water should be approximately 25% where 75% should be the color powder.

3,Wash hair cleanly with shampoo or soap and dry hair properly.

4,Apply paste on hair with a brush, comb the hair after five minutes so that the paste should reach in the roots of hair. If any grayness is observed in the hair, apply more paste on that portion. Ensure that the color paste is completely applied on hair.

5,After applying paste on hair properly tie a cloth band around the hair line on the head, so as to prevent paste from falling.

6,Wear the shower cap on the head covering the cloth band also and please wait for 2 hours.

Wash the hair as according to the above mention time with water, later on wash it with soap or shampoo as you like.
