Installation
Installation instruction for plastic shower niche
- Trace around the back of the insert, not including the mounting flange
- Ensure there are at least 2 edges running along noggings
- Cut out substrate as marked
- Place niche into a hole and ensure it's level
- Apply silicone in a continuous line around the mounting flange
- Secure the niche in the wall with fasteners (not supplied)
- Recommended screws: size 8-10*30mm
- Apply for waterproofing membrane
- Feather out the flange to the substrate using a polymer modified adhesive
- Tile to finish
