The Blow-Fill-Seal Technique has been developed so that formation of the container, filling and sealing takes place 

in a single machine under a controlled environment that enables the packaging of a pharmaceutical 

liquid in an aseptic manner.

The following picture show the major phases in the integrated packaging of parenteral solutions using 

the AFP® system.

As the container is made, filled and sealed within a single machine and the process is protected using a sterile air shower and additionally, all process media (solution, air etc.) are sterile filtered, the chanceof contamination is very remote. Adding to the fact that during the whole cycle, open containers remain exposed to the clean room air for less than 1.5 seconds, the Blow-Fill-Seal technology becomes 

the process of choice where contamination of particle matter and microbial contamination is a primary concern.

In order to meet the different customers' requirements, SPM has developed an extensive machine program for bottle and ampoule manufacturing including machines with one mould and two moulds. 

The machine can fill the plastic container parenterals such as Large Volume Parenterals （LVP），Small Volume Parenterals （SVP） and Eye, Ear, Nose Care Products.

BFS technology is a kind of sterilized filling technology, the machine can complete blowing, filling and sealing process in a single process under the sterile state. In other words, if provide qualified liquid 

and plastic particles from the outside into the BFS machine, it will be able to produce filled and qualified liquid in plastic bottles. 

Comparing with the two-step method, there is no need to make and store empty bottles for 

this technology, it can provide stronger guarantee for sterile. Compared with the traditional glass bottle technology, there is no need to clean bottles and rubber plugs, no need to sterilize, so it can save 

water, steam and energy. It can also reduce human mistakes. Moreover the raw material PP and PE are high quality, stable and reliable, they are more suitable for drug packaging. The performance
