Ⅱ. Operations:

1. Calibration:Wash the electrode with pure water and dry it, place it into 3.00 ppt calibration

solution, still it after stirring, depress the key for 2 seconds after the reading is stable, the icon “ ” appears on the LCD, and display twinkling “3.00” ppt. The calibration will finish after several seconds.

2. Measurement:Wash the electrode with pure water and dry it, place it into the sample

solution, still it after stirring, and take the reading after value to be stable.

3. Wash the electrode with pure water and dry it, then put the electrode cap on it.

Ⅲ . Notes:

1. The meter has been calibrated before leaving factory. Generally, user can use it directly. It is suggested to calibrate every month.

2. Salinity calibration solution has no buffer action, so please pay special attention to avoid pollution, and change it immediately after many times using.

3. If the electrode is stained, you can clear it by in warm water or alcohol which containing detergent. But you can not wipe, to avoid damage to the electrode surface of platinum black coating.

4. The meter will automatically power off if no operation after 10 minutes.

5. Please change the battery when the icon “  ” appears on the LCD.
