But high technology for detecting only flames is never easy.

Since its foundation on June 10, 2013, IRT Korea Co., Ltd has concentrated on developing and commercializing the technologies for frame detectors and thermal cameras. As a specialty company for frame detectors and thermal cameras, it completed the development of ultra-light, subminiature digital infrared 3 wavelength frame detectors in November 2014 for the first time in the world, obtained a type approval from Korea Fire Institute, and started mass-producing and supplying them right after their development. Without being complacent, IRT Korea is still doing its best to develop and produce various new products.

On the basis of its creative mind and thermal energy analysis technologies with which it is studying and developing new products endlessly even in its short history, ranging from digital frame detectors to hybrid frame detectors after they were selected as a national project for the development of frame detecting technologies by Small Business Administration, it has developed unwanted alarm-preventing artificial intelligence frame detecting technologies which dramatically improve the malfunctions of frame detectors without sensitivity adjustment for the first time at home and abroad and is taking a strong leap toward the world’s fire detector market with such state-of-the-art technologies.

In 2013, we were designated as a technology venture business by Small and Medium Business Corporation and obtained the ISO9001 certification. While concentrating on technology-based management, we also obtained RoHS and CE certification as well as the type approval from Korea Fire Institute. At present, we have applied for FM and ATEX certification and are doing our best to develop and supply new frame detecting technologies.
