2.Products Sterilization Methods
Sterilization Equipment Validation report
1)- Products sterilization methods
Put the Products in cartons and pack on the pallets for final sterilization, using epoxy ethane gases to sterilize. our company uses the mixture of ethylene oxide and carbon dioxide gas , 70% carbon dioxide mixed with 30% epoxy ethane, which is on the premise of the sterilization effect and ensure the safety performance. control the Sterilization dose at about 500 mg/L and the humidity at about 70%;first preheat, humidification, vacuumize the autoclave cabinet before add in epoxy ethane gases, to achieve a set of sterilization temperature, humidity, and ensure the uniform and the actual time of the ethylene oxide sterilization is 8 hour. After the sterilization, absorb and discharge the ethylene oxide and clean the products with clean air and replacement , guarantee the minimum quantity of ethylene oxide residues. The whole process of sterilization operation is around 12 hours. After the sterilization, in order to further reduce ethylene oxide residues of products,which require 7 days parsing of natural ventilation. The sterilization equipment of our company is the “13 m³ethylene oxide sterilization cabinet”from “hangzhou dianda sterilizing equipment”
2)- Sterilization equipment validation report
Each year, The Quality assurance department, Quality control department and The Workshop have validation to “ethylene oxide sterilization” ,Including the performance of the equipment, automatic control, non-load temperature distribution, full-load temperature distribution, vacuum leak test and so on to ensure the effect of sterilization validation. In order to ensure the effectiveness of sterilization, Validation method combined with challenging test with half cycle method, Under the condition of fixed with the dose, temperature, humidity and pressure for validation of the sterilization time; Validation sterilization time is 4 hours can reach the requirements of killing bacillus subtilis spores black variant (ATCC9372) . At actual production, to use of the sterilization validation dosage, temperature, humidity, pressure and the time will be twice times of validation time,it means 8 hours.
